In LOVE with all of Motel Rocks' late summer stock, especially their Elephant Parade line, my god believe me it's all gorgeous. Ready to replace our non-existent hotness with a blast of safari. As soon as I saw it I fell in love and promptly ordered this dress like BAM. These photos were shot in my favourite beachy location on Monday. By some miracle we managed to snap in sun for half an hour, the rainfall that had been raging all day then re-started shortly afterwards. You can also see me bitching about the British weather in my Instagram video, here. Couldn't help doing a rather stylish litter patrol with Skinny-dip London as their pesky orange juice cartons kept circling round the shore.
Know it's off topic but has anyone seen Inside Man? It's such a top film, one that gets you thinking for so long afterwards. Clive Owen is such a badass in it, and yes, Spike Lee is director *applause*. So many twists and turns and a plot that gets you confused, spaced-out and wondering if you watched right. Definitely worthwhile if you haven't seen already, and if you do see let me know your thoughts. If you don't like it of course, then I don't want to know your thoughts. Joke....
Back to Motel Rocks rocking the beach blocks, I've got to mention that I currently caved on a cactus top, and am weighing up whether to buy ALL the elephant epicness (yes, still going on about it). In true Soph style I set some peachy orange ombre against the tone of the dress. Unfortunately it wasn't as bold as I hoped but it's all trial and error. Kevin Murphy was all over my legs (minds out the gutter) with the colour bug I used; it looked like I'd fake tanned (hell no, maybe on the twelfth of bloody never). I've bought a green lipstick now, so maybe green ombre can be my next move? Whilst wearing the cactus top, course.
